I'm giving up drawing.

Firstly, I can't improve for the life of me and when I can stand taking critique, people are often just telling me what I already know that needs fixing. I am crap. Don't tell me otherwise.

Secondly, even if I was good I don't have the time. I'm trying to get to play WoW again because it inspires me so much for writing (hell, my muse has taken the form of my warlock, Dusty), and I didn't even have enough time for it in the beginning. So I'm dropping drawing full stop, except as an evening activity when winding down and even then I'm not going to bother being any good.

I might try poetry except I suck at it, I want to be able to write songs and make tunes to them so I can sing myself to sleep (you can only sing "Into the West" so many times before it bores the crap out of you) like I do to relax me often. But why not try? Hehe.

And Dusty's been siccing her pet plot bunnies on me lately so now I'm more frustrated I can't balance so many writing projects at once. Today instead of writing (I wrote 5K yesterday, but only coz my attention was diverted whilst doing it) I was suffering from Sunday-itis.

Good news, except for today I've been having good output writing-wise. I STILL need to get back to worldbuilding, but aside from that I've been good.

Now... to stop procrastinating on homework.

I was talking to my best friend about my insomnia coming again. We decided that the reason my sleeping has been getting worse again is because I'm putting off HW until I go off the computer at 7. So I'm sacrificing writing time to do HW as soon as I get home - do it as fast as possible - and then write until 7, then off the computer.

This means I'll stop drawing. I'll do drawing by hand in my art book after 7, but my scanner's weird. No more digital art, except on weekends if I feel like it. No internet either. Half an hour at TSR, I'll keep MSN and YIM open, but aside from that no internet. I want to be able to write dangit.

Total wordcount for this year: 17K for the first draft of nanowriye, 12K for the second, 6K on a backstory for that. 28K for the first draft of Soulbound, 1K on a backstory that died, 19K on the second draft of Soulbound, 16K on the third draft and 23K on the fourth draft.

Which makes a total of...

122K.
